You will need also:
Set of double pointed needles 2US or 2,75 mm, stitch markers

Sock are start from toes, however without any problem is possible use this pattern for socks start from leg, only you will star from row 89 and CO 64 sts.

Toes

How to start?
I learned something new, so I will share.
We are starting with dark brown yarn. As I said you can start from the leg by CO 64 sts or as I done star from tip toes by using 2 double pointed needles on which you wrap sock yarn around them, make 8 loops of each needle (see picture).

By using third needle knit the 8 sts from top needle and using forth needle knit the 8 sts from bottom needle.

After what you repeat those two rows you will have on your two double pointed needles 8 sts on each.
Round 1 – make 1 st at the beginning of the round, k4. These sts will go on needle 4. Mark the next st as begging of your round. Using another double pointed needle, knit 4, make 1. This is the needle 1. Use the third double pointed needle to make 1, knit 4, this is needle 2 then use the fourth needle to k4, make 1.K5 on needle 4.
4 needles with 5sts on each

Round 1 - knit
Round 2
Needle 1 – knit until to last st, M1, k1
needle 2 – k1, M1, knit to the end
needle 3 – knit until last st, M1, K1
needle 4 – k1, M1, knit to the end
Repeat until you have 16 sts on each needle tog. 64 sts.

Foot

And after this just relax and follow chart until round 51. Please not that nom. 64 it wasn’t best choice for divided pattern equal  and you will find little different but only one st.
